Designing and producing a customer magazine for Ochsner Sport, Switzerland’s biggest sports retailer.
The magazine’s core concept is the myriad of sporting opportunities available to active types in Switzerland. With its mountains, forests, lakes and sports facilities open to everyone for free, the country is literally a “playground” for sports enthusiasts. The magazine content is organized around a flexible structure of thematically linked modules – Location, Story, Know-How and Products – which not only serve as a common thread throughout the magazine, but also allow for some flexibility regarding production. Each issue focuses on the core seasonal sports of Ochsner Sport as sports outfitter. Visually, the magazine takes its cue from Switzerland, featuring lush images of the country’s rich natural beauty along with the relevant geographic coordinates. These provide readers with a visual compass for navigating the magazine.
